Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As some of you may be aware I lost my mum to cancer in October of last year. It was an incredibly tough time and one that I would hope no-one ever has to face. The work and support offered by Macmillian was and is brilliant, and they really make you feel that at no point are you going through it alone, offering advice on treatment, financial planning, even providing home visits from nurses to give other family members some time to come to terms with what's going on.

I hope you'll agree it's a fantastic cause and that me (not being the sportiest chap) attempting a half marathon is certainly worth a little financial incentive! If you can spare anything at all it would be hugely appreciated and I'll post photos/updates with how I'm getting on, also as Louisa is joining me there's no chance I can whimp out!
