Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We will be participating in the 2013 Dundee Cyclathon for the Yusef Abubaker Memorial Trust, a charity we set up in memory of our son and brother Yusef after he died suddenly of a cardiac arythmia in 2007 whilst playing rugby, he was 12 years old. Yusef loved sports and strived to push himself to his limits and then keep going. By undertaking this 26 mile cycle around the city that Yusef lived and died in, we like to think that we are keeping his memory alive.

Yusef was always thinking about others and frequently gave to charity to help others in need so through our continuous fundraising efforts, we are keeping his charitanle work going.

By donating to the Yusef Abubaker Memorial Trust, you wil be helping people in need from all corners of the world. We have raised over £75,000 to date and that money has gone towards many different projects, both locally and globally. The money raised from this event will be going towards building a second Yusef Abubaker Memorial Library in remote rural areas of Nepal.

For more details of our charity and our work, please visit www.yusefabubaker.org.uk. We as a family and a charity would be very appreciative of your support, whether that be through sponsorship, online donations or good wishes.

Please help us help others and thank you in advance.
