Your Allendale Fire Crew is made up of your family, friends and colleagues. We live in the community among you and dedicate our time to help and support you through those unforeseen emergencies, whenever you need us. But have you ever wondered who looks after us when we need that little bit of extra help? The Fire Fighters Charity, that's who!!

The Fire Fighters Charity provides confidential, personalised support to the fire service community and their families.....FOR LIFE.            They deliver mental health, physical health and social wellbeing services not only at their centres, but also remotely and within communities across the UK. They aim to ensure that we live well and are there to support all members of the fire service - serving, retired or dependant - in our time of need. And that folks is why we want to give something back!!!!

On Saturday 27th August 2022 our team will set off from Bowness-on-Solway in Cumbria and walk eastwards along the Hadrian's Wall Path to Wallsend in Newcastle. The path is over 84 miles long and we are completing the full route in one go, aiming to finish the following day, Sunday 28th August, around 3pm (ish). This is a route that most people take between four and seven days to complete so the challenge is on!!
