Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am taking part in the Great North Run 2013, to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.

My friends Kelly Burke and James Pitman lost their beautiful daughter Jessie in December 2012, due to an undetected heart condition. The utter devastation and sadness that this has caused cannot be measured or put into words.

My Dad also suffers from a heart condition, and occasionally requires hospital treatment, and monitoring, and may in the future require more treatment if his condition worsens with age. Our family has had some unnerving and worrying moments, especially in the days before he was diagnosed.

So, on behalf of this wonderful charity and the amazing work and research they carry out, for all the people they currently help and will help in the future, and in honour of Jessie Burke and the Be Amazing Whatever Foundation, I am going to dig deep and KICK SOME ASS!!!
