Story
John struggled for many years with Multiple Systems Atrophy (MSA), a rare degenerative neurological disease. As his condition deteriorated, Priscilla Bacon stepped in to support him (and me). In 2017 John enjoyed his weekly visits to the day centre, but eventually spent a large proportion of his final months being cared for as an in-patient. Sadly John died at Priscilla Bacon on 28th September 2018.
The staff and volunteers at PB are incredible, and do amazing work, for which I owe them endless thanks, in what are at present outdated and cramped facilities. There is now an opportunity to build a new modern hospice. We need £12.5 million to build this hospice for Norfolk. Donate today and build the hospice of tomorrow.Priscilla Bacon Hospice is dedicated to developing end-of-life care for Norfolk. The county desperately needs to expand its palliative care provision to meet the needs of a growing and ageing population. The charity needs your support to build a new 24 bed hospice, which will also act as a hub from which outreach work can be co-ordinated.
