Story
I am holding the fundraiser in memory of my brother in law Gordon Stewart of Overtown who passed away last July aged 32 after a three year battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.
Since July 14th Gordon has been in all our minds and we wanted to do something to focus on and remember Gordon in a fitting tribute. The 'monster ball' took arms and legs after a conversation at a 30th birthday party and now everyone is looking forward to it. Gordon was an inspiration and the way he handled his diagnosis and treatment will remain with us forever - he never once complained or asked 'why me'. He underwent two bone marrow transplants and intense chemotherapy sessions during his treatment.
He had one of the most infectious personalities and anyone who knew him will agree he is sorely missed and loved still. I set up this page for people who knew Gordon but can't make the fundraiser night. Please share the page to get as much money for the charity as possible. I hope that this night and this page will bring in a lot of funds for the LLR team so no other family need to lose their Gordon.
Thanks Amanda and The Stewart family.
