Fundraising for Willow Foundation
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
As many of you are aware the willow foundation was a charity that provided Chris and Julie with a fantastic weekend away in London last year. I know how much this weekend meant to both of them and the memories from it that still live on. You are also aware of the Marathons that Chris completed for charity and how dedicated he was to his training. I now feel that In Chris's honour I would like to do my part for charity and support the willow foundation.
So here is my plan-
On Saturday 10th October 2015 myself and Julie along with 15 other close friends and family will all complete a sponsored family cycle for the willow foundation.
The cycle will take place along the old Deeside Railway Line. The Deeside Way is a 66-kilometre (41 mi) rail trail that follows, in part, the bed of the former Deeside line. The trail leads along the north bank of the River Dee from Aberdeen (Duthie park) to Ballater.
I know it would be hard work but I think with a bit of training and determination knowing that our efforts would be supporting a good cause then we can do it.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated.
