It's quite possible I've lost my mind and I'm having an early midlife crisis! I will be "jumping"...dragged out of a plane at 13,000ft on a tandem skydive with Herts RaG (Raise and Give) Charity Team and Endeavours Adventures! 

Two of my biggest fears of falling and heights. Even just flying is scary enough or standing on tall buildings gives me wobbly legs. I'm literally bricking it. 

So why am I putting myself through this and facing my biggest fears.....Well, the money raised from this event will go towards RaG's 3 chosen charities - REACT, Ronald Mcdonald House Charities Uk, and Women for Women International. In 2017 my cousin passed away through cancer his fight was incredibly brave. Every year since I have pushed myself to do things that I have put off through fear. Life is short so I'm trying to be braver like he was. 

React is a small charity whose mission is to improve the quality of life for terminally ill children living in low-income families. The charity provides a varied range of equipment and aid to families, easing the pressures of caring for a seriously ill child at home. The charity also offers respite holidays and very sadly, assistance towards end of life costs.

Ronald McDonald House Charities UK provide free ‘home away from home’ accommodation (24/7, 365) to families with seriously sick children in hospital for as long as they need. All their Houses are moments away from the specialist children’s ward so families are always close by.

Women for Women International supports women who live in some of the world’s most dangerous places. Women enrol on the charity’s year-long training programme, where they learn how to earn and save money, improve their family’s health and make their voices heard at home and in their community. Since 1993, the charity has helped over half a million marginalised women survivors of war in 8 conflict-affected countries.

The money raised will be life changing for these charities, and to help all of them with their incredible work that they are doing, especially under the current circumstances.

Please dig deep! Hopefully, the jump, the before and the aftermath is filmed or I will try and find a way of getting the magical moments on camera. I suspect it will as entertaining as I'm a celebrity....
