For those who follow the blog you will know that I had identical twin boys at 31+2 who spent 33 days in NICU and have had subsequent stays in hospital for various chest infections including RSV and Pneumonia. 

Having premature babies had a massive impact on me and Bliss was a fantastic source of information and support throughout our time in NICU. I wish so much that I had been able to access a Bliss support group but at the time there wasn't a local group. By raising money and awareness for Bliss we can ensure that everyone facing premature birth can access the support they need. 

90,000 babies are born needing neonatal care in the UK every year and Bliss research and campaign for babies to receive the best possible level of care regardless of when they are born. They provide a support line, produce information leaflets for parents, train healthcare professionals and lobby our government.

I cannot think of a better way to raise money for Bliss than dressing up as super heroes in honour of our little miracle super hero preemies and coming together to celebrate them and help support others.
