Hi my name is Andy, I'm from the Isle of Wight. My friend Neil (from Malvern) and I are going on an Adventure.

On May 12th, Neil and I will be setting off on a 16 day 1100 mile John O'Groats to Land's End cycling trip.  We're doing this unsupported, so we're carrying all of our stuff with us.  What started out as a pipe dream about 8 years ago, got real last year and we're taking now ready for the off.

This will be the first time that either of us have attempted anything like this so it's quite a big challenge.

Anyway, here is the thing, we're doing this for a charity so would like your support.  We're supporting Mind -The Mental Health Charity.

When you’re living with a mental health problem, or supporting someone
who is, having access to the right information - about a condition,
treatment options, or practical issues - is
 vital. Mind can help with all of that.

We know that times are tight, but this is an excellent cause and well worth both of our efforts.  We would love to raise £2200, one pound for every mile that we ride.

If the cause doesn't make you want to donate, I'll be spending my 37th
birthday away from my lovely wife with just Neil for company in
one of the most isolated pubs in Britain, The Crask Inn.
That's got to be worth a fiver.
