Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 21st of July 2019 I will be riding my very first 100K road bike sportive around the Cheshire countryside. Following a recent post on the Labrador Retriever Rescue Facebook page and seeing so many images of dogs that are sadly no longer with us, I have decided to use this 100k ride to raise some much needed funds for Carolyne and her team at The Labrador Retriever Rescue Charity.
We lost Bracken our Labrador who was an Ambassador for the LRRS last November and I know how heartbreaking losing your best friend can be. I set up the Bracken Memorial Just Giving page to keep his memory alive and to help other dogs like Bracken and we have already raised nearly £10,000.00 in his memory for this incredible charity.
HOW YOU CAN HELP!
So here is my idea, for those of you who have also lost your best friend why not make a donation to the LRRS in their memory.
Any donation however small is going to make a huge difference. Obviously anybody can donate as well and every penny will go directly to Carolyne and her team.
Carolyne really does need our help, it costs many thousands of pounds to continue the work that she and her team does and sometimes in life we all need a helping hand and now can be our turn to help them help so many amazing Labradors lead a better life.
I am currently training for the big day so will update you as to how it’s going on here. I have set a target of 1500.00 but hopefully we can raise more!!! Fingers crossed!!!
I will keep you updated with my training and for anybody in the area on the day be great to see you to cheer me along, believe me Im going to need it as its going to be a tough day but well worth it!!
Thank you for your continued support raising money for this amazing charity
