Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, I’m fundraising for the charity "when you wish upon a star" in memory of my wife’s cousin Terri Noon. Terri lost her courageous fight with a brain tumour in August 2010 at just 19 years old, after previously and successfully fighting leukaemia twice, the first time of which she was only 7 months old. On May 25th of this year Terri would have celebrated her 21st birthday and we are determined to turn this negative into a positive and plan to celebrate by racing in a dragon boat race in her memory. At the same time we will be raising vital funds to enable the charity to continue their fantastic work of granting wishes for these wonderful children.

Unfortunately some of these wishes become priceless memories for families and we would like to repay the charity for the generosity and kindness shown to Terri and her family by raising funds to enable other families who find themselves in similar devastating situations to enable to create wonderful memories.
