Vodafone are holding a ‘Big Bold Challenge’ and inviting us to run, cycle, swim or paddle board to raise money for Charities. The ‘2015’ Vodafone Big Bold Challenge is exactly a year to the day after Dad lost his battle with cancer. Dad enjoyed running, doing the Great North Run several times, so it seemed fitting to select to run in the 2015 Big Bold Challenge on 1^st October (the 40K cycle option also didn't seem like much of a challenge as I still cycle to work everyday). I have not run for the last 15years since I did the Great North Run in 2000, so running 10K really is a challenge!!

In an effort to try to raise as much money as we possibly can for Macmillan, Tracy will also run a 10K. She has talked about it for the last few years but never actually got around to ever doing anything, but this seemed like the perfect challenge. Mum says she'll do a 10K walk on the same day.

Macmillans really supported Mum and Dad during his illness, and have continued to support Mum during this last year, so its now our turn to try to help, so that they can continue to support our loved ones in these most difficult of times. We would really appreciate your support for this charity and would love to match the amount everybody kindly donated in October last year.
