My mother died on the 9th February 2021.

Tragically she took her own life.  COVID-19 was not the reason for her passing, but I would say her health deteriorated due to the lockdown restrictions.

Heidi suffered with her mental health for years and additionally lived with Fibromyalgia - a chronic debilitating condition which involves widespread pain and fatigue.  Understanding of the condition and treatment are currently limited and my mum was passionate about raising awareness.  I think she’d be really happy about raising money for this charity.  

For those of us who knew her, we know how self-less, caring, genuine, bubbly and unique she was.  She has left a huge hole in our lives and we will remember her always.
