On the 5th of September, we lost our amazing Mum to Cancer. In her last months and weeks, Mum received so many beautiful flowers from family and friends, which she took great pleasure in admiring. 

Before Mum passed, she expressed her wish to have only family flowers at her funeral and for any other memorial tributes to be made by donating to Children with Cancer UK, a charity close to her heart. With a smile she said, “I can’t enjoy the flowers when I’m not here”.  

Mum felt strongly about supporting Cancer charities but in particular she wanted to help children with Cancer. Knowing all too well the effects Cancer has on adults, she couldn’t imagine how children managed this awful disease.
