Each year, more than 1200 people in the UK, are paralysed due to a back injury. Every 8 hours someone is told they will never walk again. I broke my back, in an accident 12 years ago, I was very lucky and made a full recovery. The Aspire charity is there to support those people that aren’t as fortunate as myself. Aspire provides practical help and advice to support people from injury to independance.

The work that Aspire do, greatly improves the lives of not just those that have been paralysed, but also their families, but in order for them to continue this vital work they need charitable donations from businesses and from you, the public.

I plan to help with Aspire’s fund raising, by running the London Marathon in April 2014 and hope that you will join me, metaphorically speaking, by sponsoring me to complete this event.  

So please give as much as you can, to help a charity that is close to my heart.
