I'm raising money for the Prospect Hospice in Wroughton as they helped my dearest friend Sophie Vessey cope through her final days.

Sophie was such a 'lovely' person, I know that might sound cliché, but she was! I first met Soph when I moved to Freshbrook back in 1982. We got up to lots of mischief in our teens, none of it was harmful, just fun. Her smile lit up a room, her laugh made you want to laugh too. Her love for life was infectious.

Sophie battled bravely with ovarian cancer, unfortunately her illness was diagnosed far too late for survival, but even in her darkest days Sophie was as positive as possible. Her parting has had a massive impact on many peoples lives and she will never be forgotten.  x S.V.V. x
