In memory of Archie Hewitt
We support Birmingham Children's Hospital to improve the lives of sick children

Story

On Saturday 19th April, we will be walking from Birmingham to Wolverhampton along the canal towpath in order to raise money in memory of Archie Hewitt, an amazing and courageous 1 year old chappie who sadly lost his life to cancer on 6th February 2013.

Archie spent a significant amount of time with his parents, Helen and Steve Hewitt, at Birmingham Children's Hospital Cancer Facility, which is currently in desperate need of renewal.  Your donation, however large or small, will contribute to the creation of a new Children's Cancer Centre, which will in turn greatly improve the quality of life and comfort of seriously ill children and their families.

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
