Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my web page

The crazy old boy is at it again but this is the last time I promise. The Mason wing walking team are, I believe the only people in the world that offer this. Differs to wing riding you’ve probably seen where you’re strapped to a fixed pole.. I will have to climb out of the plane whilst flying , make my way to the top wing , then the lower wing and finally get back in again.

Crazy? Yeh, stupid? Yeh again. But it’s to raise money for a great cause , prostate cancer is fast becoming one on the biggest killers of the male population. I am so lucky to be in remission with no signs of it returning. But it could have been so different if I didn’t have wonderful people to help me.

I must thank the following for whom I will be eternally grateful. Mark you are the man , thanks for everything .My family for supporting me . My lovely sister who was my rock. Stephen and Kerri who got me into boxing which saved my life. Larry my good friend and councillor .

All the boys at KENT GLOVES the best boxing gym you will find anywhere . Really nice guys , Bim, Phil, Lucien ,John and anyone else I’ve forgotten. Just try it for yourself , you get expert coaching and encouragement but most of all I thought at my age and I was so unfit that there would be a lot of strange looks and laughing .but I was welcomed with open arms.

Finally a vey sad mention to my dear old mum dolly who sadly passed away in April and my thanks to her carer Jane and all the staff at the care home.

So there we are, if you would like to have a bloody good laugh at the old boy (specially all you Herbert’s) hanging on an airplane for dear life, looping the bleeding loop and all sorts then please donate anything you can , it really does all help.

Thank you so much for reading my storey .Arf x
