Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page and a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has generously donated so far or in prior years.
I will be taking part in the London Triathlon on Sunday 6th August. The event involves a 1.5km swim, 40km cycle and 10km run.
This is my third year of participating in the London Triathlon to raise funds for Bloodwise (formerly Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research) in memory of Mike Gulvin.
Mike was a very dear friend who trained as a mechanical engineer and was a power sector insurance underwriter for a Lloyd's syndicate.
Unfortunately Mike lost his battle with Leukaemia in February 2014, after 10 months of treatment, but he was a fighter and never gave up hope of being cured.
I hope you can help by making a donation large or small, to raise funds for Mike's chosen charity, which is dedicated to improving the lives of patients with all types of blood cancers and may prevent another family from experiencing such heartache.
