Story
Gloria Chaplin worked for BP for over 25 years and during that time, she raised money for her favourite charity, Age UK Milton Keynes. One of her proudest moments, was carrying a torch for the Olympics in 2012 and being in the local paper.
Gloria was a force of nature, with so much energy. She was always upbeat and cheerful which made us all feel so much better when we saw her.
Every year she helped give out water on mile 3 at the MK Marathon. Last year, she said goodbye to the other volunteers and went home for lunch. Tragically she died later that day and is greatly missed.
