Matilda is walking 10km along the Lancaster Canal, and Becky is running the Virtual London Marathon later this year.

When our little boy, Jesse, died from sepsis at 6 days old, Forget Me Not appeared in our lives less than 6 hours later - at Bradford Hospital where Jesse's twin brother Bobby had been moved. They swept us up and looked after us in the weeks and months to come and it's only now that we realise just how much they did.

From memory making (and cuddles) with Jesse in the days after he had died when we couldn't be there, to collecting his death certificate and arranging for us to be able to register his birth and death in the same place - they made life easier - at the very hardest time. They took us on as a family and Matilda adored everyone we met. They made tough moments happy by finishing off our memory making keepsakes when we were back home together and bringing us into the hospice for chats, food, play and a little normality.

Forget Me Nots perinatal service is the only one of its kind in the UK, supporting families from the 20 week pregnancy scan onwards. They also support families whose baby has unexpectedly died just before, during or shortly after birth.The Shooting Star Appeal aims to raise the funds needed to run this vital service for 3 years.
