Story
Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
I’ve chosen to run the Manchester Marathon in memory of my Grandad who passed away in June 2020 after a long battle with Dementia.
For those who knew me, and my Grandad, you’ll know that he was my best friend and my inspiration for many things within my life, but especially sport and football - he could be found in all weathers watching me play on a Sunday morning and rumour has it that he had the same no nonse style of play that I inherited 🫣
Whilst I’m no real runner, I want to push my limits further than ever to hopefully raise as much money as possible for Alzheimer’s Society so they can continue the excellent work they do for people with dementia & their families!
Thank you in advance for any donations ❤️
