Story
About me
I'm running this year's Great North Run in memory of my lovely mum Irene, who passed away last year.
You may not have met her, in which case you should know that she was ace. If you did meet her, you will already know this.
My chosen charity this year is Queenscourt Hospice who gave my mum and family (and continue to give countless other families) such exceptional support in the most difficult of times. You should know that we can vouch, first hand, that their work is fantastic.
Two ways to donate
There are two ways to donate:
1) On this page! A straightforward donation/sponsorship, received with massive thanks.
2) As an illustrator (by trade), I have drawn a new print design for this year's race. Instead of donating on this page, if you'd prefer a print, you can buy one at lowmoonoverhightown.com
I shall donate ALL PROFIT from sales of this print design to my page after race day.
Many thanks for your time,
Ben
About Queenscourt
We believe no-one should face a life-limiting illness alone. Our aim is to give adults with far advanced, serious and progressive diseases the best possible Specialist Palliative Care free of charge, whilst supporting their families and carers. Due to the impact of Coronavirus we are experiencing a significant loss of income which as a small charity with a BIG reach will hit us hard. We are therefore grateful for your support at this challenging time, as it will make all the difference. Thank you for helping to keep Queenscourt in service.
