By sleeping out on a cold November night I hope not only to raise some funds but also to raise awareness.  Awareness of the growing number of unfortunate people who have found themselves having to sleep out every night.  The funds raised will help to provide a winter emergency night shelter for the homeless people of Slough from Jan to March.  Together we can make a difference and provide not only a safe, warm and dry place to sleep during the coldest months of the year, but also a place where dignity and self worth can be restored and where a conversation shared, a listening ear and a hot cup of tea really can make someone feel a million dollars!  I'm not asking for a million dollars just a few pounds if you can spare them.  If not then your prayers would also be most gratefully accepted.
