me and darren pannifer are running the great north run next year in memory of our dear neighbour steven brown .steven was such a lovley man. we only knew him for a short time but he is one of those people you meet and never forgett he was sooo funny, had a huge smile best personality,he always came home from work with a hillerous story from that day. n very cheeky ,he is missed by so many people,he died on the 11/07/13 after a motor bike accident ,steven had decided to donate his organs and saved 5 peopes lifes through doing so. this gave his family and freinds some comfort to know steven still lives on,and that their son/brother//boyfreind/grandson/nephew/cousin/freind has saved 5 people lives.

i am also running this race to prove anyone can do what they want with enough determination ,last year i never thought ide be in the position to run the great north run ,as i weighed 16,stone 6lb sat around eating all the wrong foods was extreamly down due to my appearence,i have turned my life around lost 5 stone doing this run will be such a personal achievement for me and will help keep me motivated and on track,i dont want to do it just to do it i want to get a good time them try beat it each year ,im very excited and motivated to take part in the run.

we will be doing a number of events ,through the year to raise awareness and money for the charity ,if any one has any ideas of what eles we can do please let me know ,
