Story

Most of the shampoos and conditioners now available on the market contain sulfate. While a small quantity of sulfate is actually good, as the role of sulfates is to strip essential oils and keratin from the hair and so that they can be washed down the drain, a big quantity of sulfates is going to have negative effects on your hair. The problem is that hair needs essential oils in order to look healthy and be strong. Since the shampoos now available on the market contain too many sulfates, they will basically wash out a big quantity of essential oils from your hair, not leaving enough for you to have a strong, healthy hair. Do you now understand why it is so important for you to gather lots of good info on sulfate shampoos and their effects on your hair? Do you now understand why so many beauty specialists are recommending you to direct your attention towards a shampoo without sulfate products in it? We can help you better understand how this works, so continue reading this article for some very useful information on the field.

1.Stop using shampoos that contain sulfates because they are skin irritant. If you are dealing with a skin problem, such as eczema or dermatitis, it is wise for you to avoid shampoos with sulfate because your skin will be more sensible to their effects. All the side effects of shampoos that contain sulfates will double because you already have a skin problem, so wisely choose your shampoo.

2. Stop using shampoos that contain sulfates because they will lead to color fading. There have been thousands of cases of men and women who complained that after using a specific shampoo, they simply lost their beautiful, natural hair color. It was then proved that the shampoos these people were using had big concentrations of sulfates in them. Since sulfates are usually highly abrasive, they will cause the outer layer of the hair shaft to open. As this happens, the artificial coloring seeps out and your hair will absolutely start fading.

3. Curly hair is affected by shampoos with sulfates. The main role of the presence of sulfates in shampoos is to strip essential oils and keratin from the hair so that the dirt and the oils are washed. However, curly hair is naturally drier than other types of hair and since a sulfate shampoo will take the little moisture away, you will have very dry hair that simply looks unhealthy.

4. Essential oil loss. It is very important for you to gather more details on the essential oil loss that takes place because of shampoos that contain sulfates. The role of essential oils is to keep your hair strong and healthy. It is important for some of the essential oils to be washed away but when you use a shampoo with a high content of sulfate, expect for most of the essential oils to be washed away. This will lead to big hair problems, so try to avoid this.
