Hello!

In March I'm taking part in my first half marathon on Behalf of Macmillan Cancer Support who provide support for people affect by cancer - including the individuals, friends and families.

I am also arranging to cycle from John O'Groats at the tip of Scotland, right down to Lands End in Cornwall. This is a loooong way for a former fat man, over 1000 miles in 12 days. I'm doing this with fellow triathletes Owain "the whippet" Evans, Dan "the tank" Wall and our excellent support man Steve "the daddy" Evans. Even though we are all super fit this is going to be no walk in the park, there will be blood, sweat and a lot of Owains tears so please dig as deep as you can to make it all worth while (I don't want to have to do this again!).

I will be posting photo's of the marathon and throughout the cycle to keep you updated and all the support/abuse will be much appreciated on facebook!

A quick update for everyone, I have now completed the Bath Half and only a short bike ride to go! The half marathon was pretty hard but I'm please with the time of 1:43:50 which is apparently a course record for men with my height/weight/hair colour and length/eye colour and shoe size - so I'm really pleased!
