On Saturday 27th July Katherine and Elaine invitied friends and family for a body shop/afternoon tea garden party to raise funds for Macmillan in memory of Anne. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and we had a fantastic turn out of friends and family to offer their support. It was the type of afternoon that Anne would have loved and it reminded me of one very similar afternoon that Anne and I spent a couple of years ago at a fund raising event with some of Anne's work friends.

Anne also loved Body Shop and we thought it would be fitting to remeber her in this way. Katherine, Janet, Rachel, Nicola and Linzi brought some fantastic home made cup cakes and scones and we a pamper area for guests to have their hands and feet massaged! Anne would have been first in the queue to have her feet done!!  We also had a quiz and raffle, Lynn Anne's sister came and gave her support and she won almost every raffle prize - we thought that Anne may have been willing her to win!!

We really enjoyed the afternoon and are grateful to Macmillan for the support they gave to Anne, Brian, Robert and Laura.
