Story

I'm running my first ever marathon for the MS Trust. It's really exciting and nerve-wracking, and I would love your support no matter how big or small.

My Uncle David had MS and so raising money to help the quality of life of people with MS will mean a lot to me.

According to The NHS, "Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a condition that can affect the brain and spinal cord, causing a wide range of potential symptoms, including problems with vision, arm or leg movement, sensation or balance. It's a lifelong condition that can sometimes cause serious disability, although it can occasionally be mild." At worst it can cause majority paralysis and slurred/slow speech.

A great spokesperson for MS is Selma Blair. You can read about her experience and hear her talking about her MS here - https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/selma-blair-ms-multiple-sclerosis-time-100-health-summit-symptoms-a9163051.html

I'm really looking forward to the process of training and fundraising and will endeavour to keep everyone updated via this fundraising page!
