We are holding a Charity Ball on the 3rd of March 2017, lots of our friends and associates aren't able to make it on the night but have asked if they can still support  the event which is why we have set up the page. 

Why are we raising money? 
Choose Occupational is owned by Sandra Holliday, who sadly lost her mother Brenda to Mouth cancer in 2006. 

In June 2005, my mother, then 57 years old developed a small mouth ulcer on her tongue.  She tried the usual over the counter treatment with no improvement so we visited the dentist who referred her to the Head and Neck consultant.  A diagnosis of mouth cancer in August 2005 started our 12 month journey through the awful experiences of this disease. 

In 2007, after the birth of my 3rd child I was asked to set up an occupational health business and I threw myself into this to escape the pain of losing my mother.  Even when she had died she pushed me to succeed and I have a lot to be thankful for as a result. 

Over ten years later, having purchased the business in 2011 and with the launch of the new  name, CHOOSE OH, it feels like an ideal opportunity to raise awareness of mouth cancer in the hopes that I can help to save even one person and their family and friends from experiencing the horrors that my mother went through.  

By generating funds for oral health foundation monies can be used to research treatment options and share health and well being information to all so that mouth cancer can be prevented or found and treated quickly.
