Story
CIRCLE's mission is to use scientific evidence to guide biodiversity conservation, animal welfare and public understanding of the natural world.
CIRCLE carries out ground-breaking research that will contribute to the conservation of wild animals and places. Biodiversity is declining across the world as a result of human activity, and research findings are often not considered in the various attempts to conserve our most precious animals and plants. We believe that conservation of biodiversity must consider both wildlife and people in order to succeed, and hence our research has a broad focus spread across our four research themes of biodiversity conservation, environmental education, animal welfare and the worldwide role of zoos.
Our annual FlaminGO! 10K run aims to fundraise for our Udzungwa Forest Project, where we are working to protect the tropical forests in Tanzania. If you want to support this event, specifically, just comment "FlaminGO! 10K run" when you are donating.
