Story
On Sunday 21st March 2021, Caron, Dan, Zack, Aimee and Cookie are joining Grief Encounter's inaugural covid-secure 'forget-me-not' walk, covering 80km between us. This walk is organised by Grief Encounter in memory of loved ones and to raise funds for bereaved children, young people and their families across the UK.
This event is particularly close to our hearts as we remember Jonathan Baker, Tanya Burns (Reinhold) and Stuart Epstein - three incredible people in their own right who have been taken from our families at tragically young ages. Each of them leaves their own legacy, particularly for our very special nieces and nephews who have benefitted greatly from Grief Encounter's wonderful support.

100% of the funds raised will go towards supporting bereaved children and young people who have experienced the death of someone close, and families and individuals impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Since March last year, there have been over 100,000 deaths due to Coronavirus. Grief Encounter offer professional support services online, including group workshops, individual e-counselling and memory workshops for all of those who need them. They can't do that without your support. Just £26 could fund a helpline session for someone impacted by grief, offering them immediate help and advice following a bereavement.
Thank you for your support.
