Believe it or not, we are embarking on a challenge that few (if any) would think that the two of us lummocks could complete....

 

Cycling 400 miles from the North to the South of Israel during the last week of November 2011!!

 

We are doing the cycle on behalf of Norwood, so please any donations would be grateful.

 

Below provides an explanation about Norwood and what your money goes towards.

Norwood:

 

Every day, Norwood provides vital support to thousands of people with learning disabilities, and children and families in need, helping them to improve the quality of their lives and achieve their goals.

 

£500 - Allows 8 adults with severe learning disabilities to attend a cours to help develop fundamental skills in the workplace.

 

£200 - Purchase specialist sensory equipment for children with autism

 

£100 - enables 3 disabled children to go to Unity Summer Camp for a day 

 

£50 - pays for an hour speech therapy for autistic children to help interact with others.

 

£25 - will purchase resources for art therapy sessions to help children express their emotions and release stress and anxiety.
