My dear Dad got diagnosed with the cruel disease MND in early 2018. He was strong, fit (for a 72 year old) and still working on his farm. This disease slowly took away everything, first his strength so he was unable to work and do what he loved. His speech, ability to swallow and breathing slowly deteriorated and everyday became a struggle. He never complained or made a fuss about what he was going through, he sadly lost the fight in October 2019. 

I would love to raise as much as possible so hopefully one day there may be a cure or better treatment for MND so others don't have to suffer.

The challenge

Dad lived in Membury his whole life and this is where I grew up so I decided it would be a great and meaningful place to run!  I am going to run and my Mum, Claudia is riding her horse a half marathon around the hilly Devon lanes, hopefully I'll keep up with her horse!!

We will be serving tea/coffee and cake after the run at Park Farm so please come and join!
