On the 15th November last year our lives changed in the most heartbreaking way possible, we lost our beautiful 16 month son, suddenly and unexpectedly in his sleep.

To give us a focus, and to get us through the long, dark and lonely, winter days and nights, we've been training for the Bupa 10K.  Clearly we'd rather be spending time with our adorable toddler, but devastatingly, this is not what life has planned for us.

The Lullaby Trust has been a huge support to us, and to our families, in recent weeks. Not only do they support families when the unimaginable happens, they also provide safe sleeping advice for young babies, and undertake research into sudden infant death.
