I am 8 years old and want to walk from my house in Belper to my Grannie's house in Littleover in memory of my Grandad Mick who passed away after a short illness in April 2020.

Having been diagnosed with lung cancer, he sadly passed away 8 days later in Ward 303 at the Royal Derby hospital.

I want to walk the 11 miles from my house to my Grannie's house, past the hospital, to raise money for that special ward to say thank you for the care they provided for him, and to help future patients and their families.

I aim to raise £180 in his honour as he was a very keen darts player. Seems appropriate!
