Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In 1989 my dad John Norman  died 24 miles into a marathon in Majorca. He was running as always for the Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.  He was 53 and an absolute inspiration to me and to many. I am doing the Great North Run in his honour and raising funds for the children's hospital which continues to this day to help and support children and their families in their time of need. John Norman was a much more accomplished runner than me but I'm giving it a go.  Also walking one of the big hills or mountains every month in 2019.
