I just wanted to tell everyone the story behind why I am doing the London marathon for This amazing charity Mencap!
In 2009 I managed to get a place on a project called the shine project though Mencap which supported adults with disabilities into work though a 12 week process. It involves doing lots of different work experience placements an finding what kind of job I would like to do. I was very lucky at the end of of the 12 be given a job at Tesco though the support of Mencap 7 years ago. Mencap amazing work an lots of other projects for children an adults with disabilities an I would like to raise as much money as I can so other adults with disabilities can I have the opportunity I had!
