I am running the Hackney Half Marathon in tribute to Daniel Beckman, to raise money for the Terrence Higgins Trust, a charity that meant a lot to him. Daniel is my boyfriend’s brother who we lost in January this year. He was a kind and caring person, who despite his own troubles gave so much of his time to helping others. For the last few months of his life, Daniel was part of the events team at the Terrence Higgins Trust, working with them on their fundraising events - work that they greatly appreciated.

The Terrence Higgins Trust is the UK’s leading sexual health and HIV charity. They amplify the voices of those living with HIV and help those using their services achieve good sexual health.
