19th March 2024 UPDATE - After falling pregnant in August 2022 I deferred my place for the 2024 April Marathon! However, we then had a big shock in December when I again found out we are expecting another baby!

So next year is looking like 1 toddler, 1 baby and a house extension - so deferring another year doesn't look so sensible. Instead, my amazing brother has offered to run in my place. 

So, rather than running the marathon, I am giving my daughter a brother. A relationship I hope to be as special as mine and Ben's. Ben - thank you for doing this for me, you are the best big brother. 

Please go and sponsor him, he's been training hard with 4 months notice and really bloody deserves it.

Those of you who know me may be surprised to hear I am running the London Marathon (not as surprised as me!).

I will be running to raise money for Cancer Research, an amazing charity that does fantastic work. 

This charity is particularly close to home for me, I have lost family members to the disease and also seen my incredible Dad survive it.

1 in 2 of us will be diagnosed at some point in our lifetime. Research is the only way to stop that.
