The Salvation Army' Covid 19 Community support
Campaign by The Salvation Army (RCN 214779 and in Scotland SC009359)
Supporting those who are struggling during the Coronavirus pandemic.

Story

The Salvation Army is a Christian Church & registered charity working in 130 countries worldwide and is one of the largest and most diverse providers of social welfare in the world; and we continue to offer support, within the Government guidelines, during this pandemic.

Here at The Salvation Army in Chester Le Street, we recognise that since the outbreak of the Coronavirus last year an increasing number of people are suffering in many ways; from families facing financial insecurity, to the most vulnerable and elderly who are struggling in isolation to obtain basic food provisions and with loneliness; and we want to continue to do what we can to help alleviate such need.

The message which we wish to convey to those in the community is that whilst our church may be closed in terms of our regular activities,  'We are still here!'

On behalf of the Salvation Army in Chester le Street, We say Thank you - Thank you so very much!
