Having had a close member of my family suffer from an eating disorder over the past 15 years has opened my eyes to the impact of mental health and the devastating effect mental health issues can have on people's lives. 

The purpose of my charity event is to raise awareness of mental health as much as possible and to help raise funds which will be put to good use by the mental health charity Mind in the battle against mental illness.
