Building Malawi (www.buildingmalawi.com) is a fantastic charity based in Lilongwe, Malawi that has already built 2 schools and 2 libraries all of which are sustainable and no longer rely on  the support of the charity.

My beautiful friend Grace, who was sadly killed in a car accident whilst we were at school, was a supporter of Building Malawi and completed a 24 hour fast to raise money for them. Building Malawi is shortly to begin building 'Grace's Netball Court' in Lilongwe which will be decorated with her artwork and not just serve as a court for Malawian girls but also be used by the community for drama productions and as a venue for an annual rock festival!

Myself and Ulrika are flying out to Malawi at the end of July where, as well as being involved with Grace's Netball Court, we will also be helping out at Lingadzi Academy, the most recent project Building Malawi is focussing on in which they are bringing together a school, library, sports fields and community centre in the west of Lilongwe.

Any donations would be so much appreciated, all the money we raise is going directly to the projects mentioned above.
