I suffer from tinnitus myself and I have had this condition since I was in my early forties due to working in a noisy environment,  over a period of time it has progressively got worse it affects my sleep pattern, And I  find it difficult to hear what people are saying when I am in a room where there is a lot of noise, I  feel embarrassed when I  have to ask people to repeat what they have just said to me. 

 I know I am not the only one who suffers from this incurable condition there are probably millions of people who are suffering from this condition and probably some people have it to a worse degree than I have,  It is a constant battle to get to sleep at night because it is worse when everything is quiet,

 This is why I have chosen to support the British tinnitus association not just because I have it but to help other people like me who suffer from tinnitus
