In just a few years, I've gone from being in a wheelchair to taking up running, on the 25th July this year! I never thought I'd be able to walk again (let alone run) and I'm SO incredibly grateful to be running the Taunton 10k, to raise money for Animal Free Research UK! 

The race is on the 24th September 2017, and if you're able to sponsor me I'd be extremely thankful, as it would help to support this amazing and worthwhile charity! 

Animal Free Research UK fund groundbreaking research into areas such as cancer, Alxheimer's, asthma, heart disease and liver disease - and they do this all, without the use of animals. 

Each year, millions of animals are experimented on in the UK - enduring unimaginable suffering and needless deaths. 

The results of these cruel experiments also hold little scientific relevance for humans, as each species reacts differently to another. (Even rats and mice have massive differences in their responses to various medications and treatments!)

By supporting Animal Free Research UK I hope that a brighter future can be built; which offers better research methods, faster advancements in medical knowledge, and an abolishment of cruelty towards animals!
