I wanted to set myself a personal challenge to complete this bike ride and doing it for the British Heart Foundation is an added bonus.  

They offer vital support to people of all ages who suffer with heart conditions.  The expectation that heart problems affect only the old is a myth and we need to do all we can to raise awareness amongst all ages about the BHF.
