Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2005, my dad suddenly passed away at the age of 39. Unfortunately he was born with heart problem that he battled with until the age of 12 when he underwent an operation at Great Ormond Street, which allowed him to live a full and happy 39 years. Our family will always be grateful for everything they did for my dad and continue to do for sick children everyday.
In order to ensure Great Ormond Street can carry on to contribute to ground breaking research and provide world class care, I will be setting of from London on Thursday 21st July and completing 246 miles over 3 days to arrive in Paris and have a huge celebration in memory of both my dad and my uncle.
Luckily I won't be struggling through these 246 miles alone, as Greg will also be doing it to raise awareness for Kidney disease, whilst Kyle will be doing it in memory of his dad who died from cancer 5 years ago.
Any donations to this amazing charity will motivate us all to stay out the pub and get in the gym. 100% of donations will go to Great Ormond Street as we be paying for all of the costs (deep heat, plasters and Lycra) ourselves.
