City of Sanctuary Sheffield will make very good use of your donations! It needs money for the Sanctuary, its centre where asylum seekers and refugees are welcomed in the heart of the city. The Sanctuary would love to expand what it can offer, with longer opening hours, more space for people to meet and more facilities - and it needs funds just to keep going. City of Sanctuary also works in schools and with Sheffielders all over the city, challenging myths about asylum and celebrating the positive contribution refugees make to our city. Its vision is to build a culture of welcome.

I'm asking you to support City of Sanctuary as something practical and positive you can do to help make our city truly welcoming, open hearted and positive. Walking from Glasgow to Fort William is a challenge for me but knowing I have your support for the charity will definitely help.
