Story

With her husband's permission, this Memorial Page has been set up in memory of Claire Louise Reed, who tragically passed away just five months after her dream wedding, due to Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS).

An estimated 12 people under 35 die from a previously undiagnosed heart condition each week. So in the wake of Claire's passing, we want to raise awareness of SADS and encourage others with a family history of heart conditions to get tested as soon as possible. We hope the Government will see our petitions and offer free screenings so other families don't have to suffer.

As many will be aware, Claire's family have respectfully asked that only family flowers will be permitted at the funeral. However, you are welcome to make a donation to CRY, which stands for Cardiac Risk in the Young.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.

Thank you.
